In Atila Guimaraes’ Collection on Vatican II titled Eli, Eli, Lamma Sabacthani? the author alerts the reader in Volume One that this first work will "show the ambiguity of the Council's documents. We say show, rather than demonstrate, because there are so many authors who take the chiaroscuro [a mixture of clarity and obscurity, in other words, ambiguity] of such documents as a premise to their analyses that it makes any demonstration practically superfluous." (1)

In the "General Introduction" to that volume, Guimaraes continues to comment on the language of Vatican II's conciliar texts:

One: There is a "fundamental dichotomy of language."

Two: There are "two currents of thought."

Three: "Such language appears to be a masterpiece of linguistic wordsmith. Woven like precious Flemish lace, with the inestimable threads of traditional doctrine's vocabulary, it nevertheless appears to reveal the specter of another mentality. Thus, Progressivism entered the official documents of the Magisterium with its head covered by the laced veil of the old traditional language" (MW, pp. 35-36).

The Belgian Cardinal Leo Jozef Suenens was a prime schemer who promoted the ambiguity of Vatican II. Caught up in Hegelian fervor, he attempts to combine the "two currents of thought" into a positive stratagem:

Suenens

Suenens, one of the schemers of Vatican II
"There is in Ireland a place well-known to tourists, called the meeting of the waters. It is a valley in which two rivers impetuously clash against each other to form, downstream, only one river of calm waters. I offer you this metaphor as an invitation to carry out, in a fraternal dialogue, the marvelous symphony of Lumen gentium" (MW. p. 59).

Since the end of the Council, the waters have been incessantly stirred, resulting in a constant murky brackishness. And the marvelous symphony Suenens promised can be likened to the obnoxious rap "music" that spurts from the open windows of passing automobiles.

This reminds me of a Gnostic myth where two mentalities emerge from a singular source that begets chaos and confusion. It the same confusion of the Fallen Angel Lucifer. In the mind of Satan a constant schizophrenic contradiction exists, because, on the one hand, he wants to be "adored as a god," that is, to be everything; and, on the other hand, he wants to be nothing, to "destroy himself, because when he revolted against God, he lost his reason to exist." (2)

It was seeing this contradiction in the language of the Vatican II documents in the form of deliberate ambiguities that motivated Mr. Guimaraes to write In the Murky Waters of Vatican II. He realized the need to expose the madness, a controlled madness, a diabolical intent to deceive. In this Volume I, the diabolical intent to deceive is laid bare. It seems to me this madness of ambiguity entering the language of the Church is comparable to the way AIDS insinuates itself into the human body.

The medical explanation of how AIDS enters the body states that the RNA (ribonucleic acid) takes over the cellular machinery (by using its own enzyme called reverse transcriptase). The host cell carrying the AIDS gene undergoes a permanent genetic mutation, and the immune system breaks down, resulting in the death of the infected person.(3)

The dead body of a man with aids

AIDS attacks the body and ends in death; likewise Vatican II attacks the Church
Death of the body is the result of this disease. Death of the Catholic Church is the hoped-for result of Vatican II, planned by the Conciliar fathers. This is demonstrated in Vols. IV and V of Mr. Guimaraes’ Collection, works aptly titled Animus Delendi I and Animus Delendi II (Desire to Destroy I and II).

In both cases, the objective is to kill. In both cases it is the immune system that is targeted, because it is the hub of all power and movement, upon which everything depends.

As mentioned above, in the infected body, it is the RNA that overtakes the healthy cell. In the Church, Progressivism based on Vatican II is breaking her immune system, which consists of defenses that protect what Guimaraes calls the "triple ecclesiastical power (magisterium, ministerium, jurisdiction), all of which have been compromised in the post-Conciliar period.” (4)

We rely on the promise of Our Lord that the Church will not be destroyed and have confidence that, in the case of the mega-errors of Vatican II, this destruction will end. Our Lady promised it at Fatima: "In the end My Immaculate Heart will triumph."
