As a recreation in his fatiguing schedule, Benedict XVI chose to relax a little watching male bodies pose in dangerous gymnastic positions. It was a show of the Pellegrini Brothers, known Italian acrobats, who performed for the Pope last Wednesday, December 15, 2010, in the Paul VI Hall at the Vatican.

As part of the performance, the acrobats stripped off their jackets before the Pope and then executed their scene topless. Once the short performance finished, another exhibit of muscles took place for the enjoyment of Roman Prelates and the Pope, who gave them a standing ovation. The body-display was also greeted with obvious excitement by the nuns - both old and young - who were in the Hall audience. Watch the video here.

A detail not to be forgotten: The Pellegrini Brothers are at least homosexual-friendly, since they performed in the Barcelona Gay Circus in July 2008, see advertisements in the last row below. The goal of that three-day-show was indisputably the promotion of homosexuality, as stated by Genís Matabosch, the event's director. The Pellegrini Brothers' performance on that occasion was to support that agenda. The news report on that show can be read (in Italian) here.

Without a doubt the year 2010 is ending filled with moral disasters. Late November we were informed that the Pope broke the dike on the use of condoms, telling the co-author of his book Light of the World that its use can be legitimate for male prostitutes. Now, he allows an indecent exhibit of male torsos in the Vatican. Catholic moral sense seems to have disappeared from the head of the Church.

These episodes bring to mind the words of Our Lady of La Salette warning us that Rome would become the seat of the Antichrist.
