Brazilian Carmelite in homo activity
The man we see holding a camera, above, is Fray Evaldo Xavier Gomes, Prior Emeritus of the Carmelite Province of Saint Elias, which governs the Order in the center and south of Brazil. He was also a canonical advisor for the Brazilian Conference of Bishops. He earned his title of doctor in Canon Law at the Pontifical Urbaniana University in Rome. It is most probably during this period in Italy that the photos seen here were taken. In 2021 these photos came to light on the Brazilian Internet, which caused Gomes to resign from his position as canonical advisor to the Bishops. In addition he offered his resignation as parish priest of Our Lady of Carmel Parish in Minas Gerais.
Shortly after, Gomes countered with the threat of a lawsuit against that website, with demands to remove the photos, alleging that they had been obtained illegally in a computer hack and manipulated.
We do not know anything about how the photos came to light. What we know is that as Catholics we have a moral duty to expose this scandal in an attempt to prevent other scandals like this from happening and to expose the moral decay of the progressivist Hierarchy. So, independent of the way the photos were obtained, Gomes' argument does not invalidate the evidence that he is an active homosexual and being covered up by the Hierarchy.
However, since Gomes is the brother of a highly placed juridical magistrate in the State of Minas Gerais, that website as well as the others that had spread those photos were obliged to take them down.
With the photos out of the picture, Gomes continues to enjoy the good graces of the Vatican. Indeed, Card. Bras de Aviz, Prefect of the Vatican's Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, named Gomes a Pontifical Commissioner to the Monastery of St. Benedict in São Paulo to replace the Abbot, who had been dismissed for covering up sexual abuses of his monks. So, to correct one abuse the Vatican chose a man still more corrupted...
Card. Aviz also named Gomes as Pontifical Commissioner to the Heralds of the Gospel, whose headquarters are in São Paulo. This choice clashed with another Pontifical Commissioner Card. Raymundo Damesceno who had already been assigned by the Vatican to that organization in 2019. This double appointment made the group the target of many attacks.
To defend themselves from accusations being made against them, the Heralds issued a book – The Commissioner of the Heralds of the Gospel - Chronicle of the Facts 2017-2025 – this last November, which brought new momentum to those scandalous photos.
As a matter of fact, the book reports that even before 2021, those photos had been sent to the Heralds, who showed them to Card. Damasceneo, who in turn went to Rome and showed them to Card. João Braz de Aviz. The latter told Damasceno that he would not punish Fray Gomes given his "past good services."
Not long after the book came to light reporting these details, Card. Damasceno asked the Vatican to be dismissed as a Commissioner of the Heralds. Gomes, however, continues to be the head of the Monastery of St. Benedict in São Paulo...
A sea of mud in the progressivist Vatican Hierarchy...
Below first row, Gomes kissing men on two different occasions. Second and third rows, he lays in bed with another man, both showing their wedding rings on their ring fingers, which possibly indicates that they got married and are on their honeymoon.
Fourth row left, the same supposed husband of Gomes stands behind a boy, who is the same boy in the picture at right with Gomes. Impossible to not raise the suspicion of pedophilia. Fifth row, an adolescent is pictured touching faces with Gomes.
Sixth row, Gomes triumphant as a superior of the Monastery of St. Benedict still today. Last row left. Card. Braz de Aviz; center, Francis gives Gomes a warm handshake; at right Card. Damasceno.
