POPE AT METZ: AN OUT-OF-FOCUS PAN-RELIGION – During his journey to France from September 25 to 28, Pope Leo XIV made several symbolic statements and gestures worthy of note.

Soon after arriving in Paris, he was received by President Macron at the Elysée Palace and gave a short address to authorities and accredited diplomatic corps in France. In that speech he made a bold eulogy of the motto of the French Revolution Liberty, Equality and Fraternity and of its Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. Both the motto and the Declaration were anti-Catholic landmarks that had been constantly condemned by the Popes before John XXIII.

After the Elysée Palace, still on the 25th, he went to the headquarters of a decaying UNESCO in Paris to give it an injection of confidence and reaffirm the Church’s support for its fading Masonic ideals.

Place Concorde

The next day he said a Mass before a considerable multitude, with his altar placed a few yards from the exact site of the scaffold with the guillotine that beheaded King Louis XVI and Queen Mary Antoinette, along with thousands of martyrs, during the French Revolution. He did not say a single word reminding Catholics of those abominable crimes nor did he pay the slightest homage to those august martyrs, although their murders opened a “river of blood that divided History,” in the words of Chateaubriand.

Let us put things in perspective: All the crimes and excesses of the French Revolution can be represented by the crimes committed in Paris; all the butcheries of Catholics and Monarchists in Paris can be epitomized by those executed on the guillotine; the most important guillotine in Paris was the one in the Place of the Revolution, which had previously been the Place Louis XV with an equestrian monument to that King.

The revolutionaries destroyed that original statue, renamed the square, and erected there a scaffold with the principal guillotine in Paris, which alone beheaded more than 1,200 persons – clergy, religious, nobles and lay Catholics of all states of life – including the Sovereigns of France. So, this site where the execution of King Louis XVI and Queen Mary Antoinette took place is the actual symbolic center of all those crimes. That same square was later renamed Place de la Concorde, where Leo XIV said his Mass. tNonetheless, the Pope ignored this.

Imagine how tearful would be the homage Leo XIV would make if he were to say a Mass some yards from the gates of Auschwitz or the prison where Nelson Mandella was held or in the church where Oscar Romero was killed! But, last week he had not a single word of sentiment nor even respect for those Catholic Sovereigns... Leo XIV treasures the values of the Revolution and is oblivious toward Catholic mores. For where your treasure is, there also is your heart. (Mt 6:21)

This outrageous papal omission to pay homage to the King and Queen of France executed at that place raised my indignation.

Interreligious meeting at Metz

After a Mass in Lourdes, he closed his visit to France in Metz, Lorraine, not far from Germany. Why Metz? Because it was the city of Robert Schuman, one of the fathers of the European Union.

Is it not curious? In Paris he “forgot” the King and Queen of France, “the first-born daughter of the Church,” who died some yards away from his altar, but he travelled 174 miles to pay homage to one of the leaders who started the European Union, one of the main components of the Universal Republic or One World Order, the great utopic dream of the Revolution.

Pope at Metz

Leo XIV with interreligious leaders in Metz

Since historically Metz has been a place affected by wars, it has been promoted as a city of union. The Pope met there with leaders of different religions and delivered a brief speech to them. The main points of his address were these:
  • Forge friendships and seek peace;

  • Enter into dialogue and honor the diversity of the other;

  • Call for the disarmament of hearts and words;

  • Be guardians of our respective traditions;

  • Serve, protect and defend life;

  • Protect and uphold the human person;

  • Be artisans of peace and witnesses of hope to grow in the world.
This short greeting, in my opinion, synthesizes well all of post-Vatican II Ecumenism.

Since 1958, the progressivist Popes have been making all types of concessions to false-religions seeking a utopic unity. Their first watchword was: “Set aside disputes regarding the faith and emphasize charity.” The second was: “Set aside any militancy and emphasize mutual tolerance.” The third was: “Set aside any discrepancies and emphasize the points in common.”

So, at the end of the process of the so-called Ecumenism and Inter-Religious Dialogue, what we have is a platitude of aims that could apply to any philanthropic organization or boy-scout group. These aims – even if we add to them ecology and care for the sick, which are habitual in other conciliar papal addresses – no longer have any religious character.

Indeed, religion comes from the Latin concept of re-ligare, to bind back the creature to the Creator. Without a series of obligations that brings men to know, love and serve God, there is no religion properly speaking.

Here the Latin maxim comes to mind: Propter vitam vivendi perdere causas. Applied to Ecumenism, the maxim could be freely translated as “they were so concerned about living together that they lost the reason for religion.”

Therefore, my first conclusion is: Vatican Ecumenism and Inter-Religious Dialogue has lost all religious substance.

Embracing a moribund groom

On another note, Progressivism calls the union of all religions Unam Sanctam, while we call it a Pan-Religion. Its goal is the same as the One World Order: that is, while the States should unite and give birth to a Universal Republic, the religions also should unite and give birth to a Pan-Religion. This marriage is meant to establish the Godless utopia of the Devil in the world. It is the dream of the Revolution, the Secret Forces and Progressivism.

The Conciliar Church continues full steam ahead preparing for this wedding, trying to achieve this plan.

Nevertheless, her groom is dying… With the robust rise of the Nationalist Movements everywhere in the world, the plan of the One World Order is falling apart.

Starting with the Brexit and followed by the Front National or Rassemblement National of Le Pen in France, the Fratelli di Italia and the Lega Nord in Italia, the Alternative für Deutschland in Germany, Vox in Spain, Chega in Portugal – along with similar movements in other continental countries – they have left the European Union at death’s door.

The coup de grace, however, for the One World Order was given by the MAGA movement in the United States. On behalf of the Great America, Trump has shattered NAFTA, the economic union of the US, Mexico and Canada, alienated all of the country’s old European allies, weakened NATO, and is now entering the fast process of losing all its Muslims allies in the Persian Gulf. He has offended Japan and South Korea, and caused so much insecurity in Taiwan that APEC – the Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation – and the US-Japan-South Korea International Pact are also at jeopardy.

So, the One World Order is no longer a priority in the Secret Forces’ agenda. What counts now is the self-destruction of the United States and the enormous vacuum left after it abdicated its leadership. Most probably the watchword is: universal chaos.

Therefore, my second conclusion is that although the Conciliar Church is eagerly preparing for a marriage with the One World Order – Pope Leo XIV is ready to declare all “Christian” religions one – on the wedding day it will find a moribund groom… or perhaps only a cadaver.

The blindness of Progressivism to this fact reveals God’s irony… Deus irridet illos – God mocks them.
