An Angel of God delivers the message of Jesus Christ's Birth to the shepherds and, leaving everything, they hasten to witness the great event. In Bethlehem they find Our Lord, His Blessed Mother and St. Joseph. A manger takes the place of a cradle. Noel Nouvelet is a lively tune originating most probably from the 15th century. Though the composer is unknown, the melody still carries much of the medieval folk spirit.
