I read with consternation the words of then Cardinal Ratzinger as quoted in Lyle J. Arnold's excellent article Cardinal Ratzinger's Subjectivism. Here is the quote:

"Conscience is the highest norm and ... one must follow it even against authority. When authority - in this case the Church's Magisterium - speaks on matters of morality, it supplies the material that helps the conscience form its own judgment, but ultimately it is only conscience that has the last word"

What can one say? By referring to the Church's Magisterium as "material" to be informed by the individual conscience, Cardinal Ratzinger has, in effect, said that the Magisterium receives its formal character from the individual conscience and not the other way around. Moreover, since we know that individual consciences often contradict one another, and since the two sides of a contradiction cannot both be true, truth cannot be said to be an essential attribute of individual consciences. Therefore, according to the logic of Cardinal Ratzinger's statement, not only does the Magisterium of the Church receive its formal character from individual consciences but from error as well as from truth. In other words, error is to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church as form is to matter, at least accidentally.

Moreover, it seems that if one were to conform ones conscience according to the Magisterium, this should be considered an abuse. For then one would be using the material principle (the Magisterium) as the formal principle, and the formal principle (the conscience) as the material.

The following quote is from his memoirs currently found in the Vietnam war memorial in Hanoi:

"But we were elated to notice your media was definitely helping us. They were causing more disruption in America than we could in the battlefields. We were ready to surrender. You had won!"

General Giap has published his memoirs and confirmed what most Americans knew. The Vietnam war was not lost in Vietnam - it was lost at home. The exact same slippery slope, sponsored by the US media, is currently well underway in regards to the War on Terror and the conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan. Giap's writings expose the enormous power of a biased media to cut out the heart and will of the American people.

A truism worthy of note:

Do not fear the enemy, for they can take only your life.

Fear the media far more, for they will destroy your honor.

How the Devil Works

On your website there has been a small comment as to the fourth set of mysteries of the Holy Rosary.

I have heard a defense of it that will clearly illustrate how the Devil works and deceives incautious or ignorant Catholics.

The defense of the fourth set goes like this: "By it the Catholic Church pays honor also to the person of the Blessed Virgin Mary beside the Three Divine Persons of the Most Holy Trinity. 3+1= 4 and everything is OK."

The Most Holy Trinity is the one, only and infinite God and thus perfectly self-sufficient and absolutely independent of anyone and anything.

The Blessed Virgin Mary could not exist without God, is absolutely dependent on Him and everything she is and possesses is a gift to her from the Most Holy Trinity.

The same relation between the Three Divine Persons and the person of the Blessed Virgin Mary remains forever and thus even after she was made the Queen of Heaven and Earth!

Whatsoever she wills or does the Most Holy Trinity wills or does before her. Thus her will is identical to God's Will. It is thus because she freely, completely and permanently subjected and gave up her own will and the whole her person to God. Only because of that she was made the Queen of all creation.

Thus, although the Queen of all creation she is freely, completely and permanently subject to the King of all creation, the Most Holy Trinity.

The question is: knowing all these truths how can the person of the Blessed Virgin Mary be paid honor on a par with and separately from the Three Divine Persons of the Most Holy Trinity (because only in that case the expression 3+1= 4 holds true for the Holy Rosary's sets of mysteries) without an abominable blasphemy to God, an act abominable to the Blessed Virgin Mary Herself? No how.

Enemies of the Catholic Church have always falsely accused the Catholic Church of paying to the Blessed Virgin Mary the same honor as is paid to God and thus of making her another god (goddess).

But with this defense of the fourth set of mysteries, all Catholics who use it thus justify this false accusation to the delight of Satan and all the enemies of the Catholic Church.

As it is written in the Bible (Romans 2:24): 'For the name of God through you is blasphemed among the Gentiles'.

So, the Devil, the archenemy and archhater of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Genesis 3:15), doesn't shy away of using the holy name of Mary and even the most holy prayers (which make the fourth set of mysteries) to blaspheme against God and destroy paying honor to the Three Divine Persons, to displease the Blessed Virgin Mary by destruction of her Psalter (150 Hail Marys of The Holy Rosary as 150 Psalms to her), to spoil the deadliest weapon against himself and to deceive incautious or ignorant Catholics (who unfortunately seem to be a great majority) to harm them as much as possible.

And if you think that all Popes are good and cannot come to Hell just read what Jesus Christ foretold about them in the Gospel (Matthew 24:45-51 and Luke 12:42-46). Isn't the title of the Pope servus servorum Dei (servant of the servants of God)?

The truth that all Popes are infallible in their definite decisions explicitly binding all faithful and that their faith cannot fail due to Jesus' prayer for it (Luke 22:31-32) is not the same as the error that they are infallible in everything they do and that they cannot do anything detrimental to Catholic Faith (Galatians 2:11-14).

A Pope is not God but can only act with God's power as stated, and only sometimes he acts thus.

You who have read this have been warned, for your own welfare, not to support the fourth set of mysteries in any way.
