Rosary Crusades, Chinese Communism
& Two Lucys
Becoming Disgusted
|
TIA,
I am really becoming disgusted with these Rosary Crusades to ask for the Consecration of Russia. It's a very worthy cause, don't get me wrong, and I offer my Rosary every day for that. But Our Lady at Fatima also told us that if man didn't convert Communism would spread its errors over the world. We have an obligation to fight Communism - and this is what seems to be forgotten.
Yes, let's pray the Rosary for the release of the 3rd Secret and the Consecration of Russia. But let's also protest the Pope's Letter to Chinese Catholics, telling the underground Church to disband and make peace with the Communist Patriotic Association.
Now I read that Pope Benedict XVI said Saturday that a "healthy collaboration" is possible between the Roman Catholic Church and Vietnam's Communist government:
Addressing bishops visiting from the Southeast Asian country, Benedict said the church and the faithful can work "loyally" to create a "just, united and fair society." "A healthy collaboration between the church and the political community is possible," Benedict said in French.
We won't have peace unless we fight the errors of Communism that Our Lady came to warn us about. There's no magic formula to make all the problems disappear.
And the Catholic traditionalist groups and societies shouldn't be ignoring these concessions with dreams that everything will be okay. They are also betraying the Cause of Our Lady and ultimately not taking the Fatima message seriously.

Accomplice Traditionalists
TIA,
Please note the following article on the Telegraph. Even Archbishop Zen confirms your recent commentary on the Pope's Letter to China of 2007. He carefully notes the position the Vatican is taking is one of compromise.
I would assert it more strongly - as you did - but even this Novus Ordo Bishop is doing more than traditionalists. The Pope says there is only one Church in China - no more underground Church - I can't believe there is no loud protest to this!
Thanks for your coverage of this important and ignored topic.

Outspoken Articles
Dr. Horvat,
Congratulations on your fearlessly outspoken articles about Benedict XVI.
May the Blessed Trinity guide us and give us the strength to follow that guidance in all things.

Plot in the Seminaries
|
TIA,
The crisis facing the Catholic Church in the United States and the abominable state of the seminary system goes beyond mere incompetence; it bears the mark of intentional orchestration. Mr. Manning Johnson, a former official of the Communist Party in America, gave the following testimony in 1953 to the House Un-American Activities Committee:
Once the tactic of infiltration of religious organizations was set by the Kremlin ... the communists discovered that the destruction of religion could proceed much faster through the infiltration of the Church by communists operating within the Church itself.
The communist leadership in the United States realized that the infiltration tactic in this country would have to adapt itself to American conditions and the religious makeup peculiar to this country. In the earliest stages it was determined that with only small forces available to them, it would be necessary to concentrate communist agents in the seminaries.
The practical conclusion drawn by the Red leaders was that these institutions would make it possible for a small communist minority to influence the ideology of future clergymen in the paths conducive to communist purposes. ... The policy of infiltrating seminaries was successful beyond even our communist expectations." - Manning Johnson
In the early 1950s, Mrs. Bella Dodd provided detailed explanations of the Communist subversion of the Church. Speaking as a former high ranking official of the American Communist Party, Mrs. Dodd said: "In the 1930s we put eleven hundred men into the priesthood in order to destroy the Church from within." She stated that she alone had encouraged nearly 1,000 youngsters to infiltrate the seminaries and religious orders. The idea was for these men to be ordained and progress to positions of influence and authority as Monsignors and Bishops. A dozen years before Vatican II she stated that: "Right now they are in the highest places in the Church."

Pope & Concubine
Dear TIA,
This picture posted on June 14 showing Robert the pious being excommunicate is a stunning picture you've added to your site. It is the reality of how the Church should act in face of multiple marriages, but it is not enforced in this whatever-goes society.
We live in a secular world with a Pope approving of the President of France and his concubine.
I am looking forward to the chastisement and the Reign of Mary.
All for Jesus through Mary,

Malachi Martin: Two Sister Lucies
|
Dear TIA,
I was recently reading the online English edition of Fatima Priest by Frances Alban and as I read the foreward by the late Fr. Malachi Martin, I noticed this quote about suspicions regarding a Sr. Lucia doppelganger.
I'm not sure if you were aware of this when your 2006 articles on the matter were published. I thought it might prove interesting at the very least and perhaps open up more avenues of research at some point.
Here is the quote:
For in the last third of this century, there has been such a concerted effort not only to distort the meaning of that keystone event of 1917, but to nullify a divine mandate on which depend the physical safety of millions and the eternal salvation of more millions. The sole surviving person chosen by the Virgin as special witness of the Miracle and the interpreter of its meaning, the 91-year-old Sister Lucia, has been segregated, maligned, misquoted; she has had bogus letters forged in her name; and, we suspect, on at least one occasion, a bogus Sister Lucia has impersonated the real and living Sister Lucia. - Fr. Malachi Martin foreward to Fatima Priest, 1997
God bless,
G.H.
