No ‘Trans,’ Cosmic Blue & Counter-Attack

It is incredible! An auction by Christie’s in Paris on October 23, 2025, estimated a “painting” by Yves Klein called “California” to be sold for more than €16M ($18.5 million). However, the painting does not represent anything; it is a surface of 4 meters displaying the color of dark blue.
It is a supposed reference to the blue of the cosmos.
Who would expend such an amount of money to have this idiocy hanging on the wall? I wonder if it is not a pretext to pass money to some undisclosed cause…
Anyway, I thought it so absurd that I am sending you the original advertisement of the auction (in French) so you can see that I am not exaggerating and then reach your own conclusions.

Edging toward Conflict
A financial newsletter I receive gives this brief resume of world affairs:
America needs to be prepared for a real war...
Just think about everything that has happened in the past five years. Tensions have been escalating globally...
Russia has shown aggression by invading Ukraine, launching drones into Poland, and threatening Finland. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Russia is gearing up for a "big war" in Europe that could start as early as 2029.
China has repeatedly tested its boundaries in the South China Sea. One expert at the U.S. Department of War even noted that President Xi Jinping has ordered the People's Liberation Army to be ready to invade Taiwan by 2027.
And just last week, North Korea fired a suspected short-range ballistic missile toward its eastern waters. As NBC News reported, "North Korea has been accelerating the pace of its weapons testing in recent weeks, including the firing of purported hypersonic missiles and cruise missiles."
All these "big power" state actors constitute very real threats to the U.S. and our allies...
However, his point was to make money on the crisis. Advice on how to invest in crucial rare earths, metals and strategic minerals.
He like so many others ignore the spiritual aspect.
If this is war, it will be like no other, and the real preparation should be spiritual.
It was a good resumé of the present state of affairs, and warning of a real war threat, but is off track. Let us turn to Our Lady and ask her protection, let us pray the Rosary daily asking her to mitigate as much as possible the coming chastisement, but let us also pray for this chastisement so that the world and the Church can be cleansed of so much filth, corruption, immorality, blasphemy and heresy.

Advocating a Counter Attack
Because of the many lovely years I spent living in Charlotte, North Carolina in the 1980s and 1990s, my heart is particularly broken over what is being done to that once flourishing Catholic diocese.
I echo these words penned by Mr. Andrew Dunn and ask you to please consider printing this in our TIA Mailbag with the hope that some priest from the beleaguered Charlotte diocese will read it and grow a spine?
Indeed, my soul weeps and asks... Dear Lord, how we desire and need priests of courage, unafraid, willing to stand, refusing to dismantle their churches, refusing to go along with the damnation of souls. Please raise up and give us such men!

For the love of Holy Mother Church, I ask you to prayerfully consider a counter-attack. For those of you who know how to say the Traditional Latin Mass, you can start that counter-attack right now by saying The Mass in your parish churches. Bishop Martin does not have the right to tell you not to say The Mass any more than Pope Benedict didn’t have the right to tell you that you could say The Mass. The Mass is The Mass, period.
You know that having The Mass in the Diocese led to many, many good things like vocations. Please, don’t let that all dry up. Say The Mass and don’t worry about persecution. Same for the altar rails - leave them in place! Our time in this valley of tears is short. Heaven (or hell) is for eternity and you will be judged to a higher standard than laypeople like myself. Please, give it some prayerful thought.
May God Bless all of you and may Our Blessed Mother, Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of All Graces wrap her mantle of protection over you. St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in this battle with the evil spirits, prowling the world for the ruin of souls.

In a surprising move the American Bishops issued a document banning surgeries to change sex in Catholic hospitals. It is not a perfect document, but it goes against the tide. Especially when we see that the Vatican itself – Pope Leo included… – is fully supporting transgenders. (He recently continued Francis' tradition of inviting transgender "women" to the Catholic Church's annual "lunch for the poor")
When I say that it is surprising, I mean that I am so accustomed to see the Catholic authority supporting homosexuality and transgenderism, that when it takes a position that weakly reminds me of the true Catholic doctrine on these topics, I say that I am surprised.
Let us see the outcome of this position. A confrontation with the Vatican? With the Jesuits? A rejection of Francis' legacy?
Perhaps I am reading too much into it.
