AI-Jesus awaits you in Lucerne
A new AI confessional-style booth has been installed in a Catholic church in Lucerne, actually, the oldest church in Lucerne, St. Peter's Church.Collaborating with the University of Lucerne, the parish theological assistant Marco Schmid decided to install a booth with cables and an AI image of Jesus, inviting people to come and converse with the AI Jesus as an experiment, for the sake of "art."

It's quite shocking, but it really did seem that it was only a matter of time before AI invaded churches. This seems to be the first step. The installation was launched in August.
