Woman Bishop gives blessing at St. Peter's Basilica

Conciliar ecumenism is moving full steam ahead with Pope Leo XIV. Yesterday, April 25, 2026, the female head of the Anglican sect performed a blessing in the crypt of St. Peter's Basilica.

The picture above shows the new Archbishop of Canterbury Sarah Mullally, giving a blessing at the crypt of St. Peter.

Bowing reverently and "receiving" the blessing is Archbishop Flavio Pace, Secretary of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity.

The scandalous photo was taken during Mullally's four-day visit to Rome. She posted this and other photos of her "ecumenical pilgrimage" to her various social media accounts (here and here), including a picture of her kneeling at St. Peter's tomb, fourth row below. The blessing act has already ignited indignant reactions on the part of Catholics online.

Clementine Chapel, one of the several underground grottos in the Necropolis of St. Peter's Basilica, is the place where St. Peter was crucified.

The Anglican Sect has had women bishops since 2014, with Mullally being the first woman to occupy the role of Archbishop of Canterbury, the highest office in the Protestant sect.
