Papal tango embraces in Barcelona
During his visit to Barcelona – June 9 and 10, 2026 – Pope Leo XIV embraced several women so closely that he gave us the impression that he was dancing the tango. Indeed, on this page the photos to the right of each photo of the Pope are of tango dancers to show how similar they appear to the Pope's poses.Doing this, he was repeating the scandalous gestures of the three last conciliar Popes who also appeared kissing and embracing women.
Did Leo XIV not realize that his example would be followed by thousands of churchmen who are committed to the vow of chastity? How can a normal man preserve chastity when he has this proximity to women? It is practically impossible.
So, the result is that the Pope is sabotaging the vow and inducing thousands of priests and religious men to break it.
Is this only a spontaneous show of accessibility to the people, or it is rather a deliberate way of behaving turned toward destroying one of the main columns of religious life?
