AI-Generated ‘Jesus Parade’ in New York City
Case in point: two weeks ago (around December 19, 2025), videos of a “Jesus Parade” in NYC were uploaded to YouTube (see here and here), garnering millions of views. At first glance, the videos give the appearance of a real event, similar to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Upon closer inspection, one discovers the disturbing reality: The videos were AI-generated.
Rules to detect an AI-generated video
This AI-generated video trend is not showing any signs of abatement. Rather, it is exploding in apocalyptic proportions, making it harder and harder to distinguish fact from fiction. In this article I hope to expose the telltale signs of current AI-generation in the Jesus Parade videos, which I hope will equip readers to have a critical eye and not fall for AI-generated fake news.
First: Check the origin
Some videos have a small warning stating that
they were AI generated
But this is not always the case, so one cannot rely on this tool alone. This is why it is important to examine the content itself.
Second: Check the context

Also in those videos there are floats representing Buddha, pirates, the Statue of Liberty and topics that have nothing to do with the celebration of Our Lord's Birth.
So, the analysis of the context of the videos can give us a strong suspicion that they were AI generated.
Third: Blasphemous or inconsistent important scenes
We can see in the Jesus Parade videos some floats representing Our Lady with a beard, which is blasphemous. Others show Our Lord with black goats, which is not appropriate since black goats are habitually linked to Satan and Satanism.
Still others have blatant errors such as those placing two babies in the same Manger scene, each one representing the Divine Infant. The last one shows two St. Josephs in a scene representing the flight to Egypt.
All these blasphemies or inconsistencies give evidence of a AI-generated video. For example, if it were true that Our Lady was represented with a beard, it would raise a strong reaction among Catholics, which did not happen.
Most Holy Virgin Mary is represented with a beard in at least three floats
In another float the Manger is represented with two Infant Christs
Christ the King is preceded by two black goats... Hardly an appropriate symbol
Two St. Josephs & two donkeys in the flight to Egypt...
Fourth: Background impossibilities
Another type of symptom that a video was AI-generated is the change of the background in an event that took place in the same city and on the same day, such as the supposed Jesus Parade in NYC. When this change of background is present, we can be sure that it was falsified.
Also the compact multitude that appears on these videos is not real. In street parades there is never such perfectly dense crowds which leave no space for pedestrians to circulate at the rear close to the buildings.
Finally, another impossibility is the one shown in the fourth photo below, which shows all the persons in New York watching that supposed parade with Chinese features. It is obvious that this clip was copied from a manifestation in China and pasted into the fake video in New York.
The NYC 2025 Christmas street decorations appear with a variety of decor styles, which does not happen. The city has just one type of Christmas decoration each year
The multitude is absolutely compacted in these scenes.
This does not happen even
at the most crowded events
All of the Manhattan population suddenly became Chinese...
Fifth: Technical errors
The last set of symptoms we have that a video was AI-generated are technical errors that reveal that the images were doctored. I will point out several of them. When the viewer watches any video he should look carefully for the details that reveal this type of errors.
The most obvious of these errors is when names of streets, magazines or the letters of a famous verses of the Scripture appear illegible, which` can be found in the fifth and sixth photos below.
Top: The cross carried by the young man on the left goes through his neck instead on being on his shoulders; bottom, the figure at the left on the boat does not have a head
These two floats go over the crowd-control fences
without causing damages to them or to the people...
Some names of the stores are misspelled; texts are illegible or misspelled
So, here I have listed five types of symptoms that reveal an AI-generated video.
My intention was to show that the 2025 Jesus Parade videos were part of a great charade. I hope I duly did so.
The next question is: Why did someone do this? It seems very likely that those who control AI are making tests to see to what degree they can fool Americans. Christmas Season offered a good opportunity.
Views & comments
After considering the criteria to catch an AI-generated video, a person might ask: “How is it possible that these videos have millions of views and thousands of comments? How could so many people be fooled by it?” The answer: These visits and comments and made by bot farms, also known as click farms.
For those unfamiliar with bot farms – which are often run by foreign agents in Russia, China and Vietnam – they are rooms or a collection of rooms that house countless mobile devices – sometimes hundreds or thousands. These devices are connected to a central power and command that uses AI. The central command uses these mobile devices to create online fake users (or robots – bots) on social media with fake profiles, generating fake comments in support of whatever the central command dictates. This is not only used to bolster support on social media, but also for streaming music platforms.
With the help of AI, these fake profiles are created and sustained by nefarious actors. It is not impossible to surmise that the same shameless actors who created these fake Jesus Parade videos also have the same man and machine power to send bots to watch, like and comment on those videos. This in turn tells the YouTube algorithm that the video is popular and should thus be shown to more people, which in turn generates more views, likes and comments…
Conclusion
We are entering an era of bafflement where AI is used to blur reality and prevent men from knowing what is objective or not. In my opinion, this is one of many chastisements that mankind is already suffering as a consequence of the general denial of the Faith among Catholics and the abandonment of the Truth in society. It is also caused by the indifference of those who could help fight this apostasy but do not do so.
It is my hope that this article can contribute in some way to expose and fight this type of false 'news' by opening people’s eyes and helping them to distinguish reality from what is fake. The moral of the story: Do not believe everything you see on the internet…
