Wow, what an extraordinarily deceptive response!
To say, “We can provide the text of two canons of the 1917 Code of Canon Law, which deal with attending non-Catholic ceremonies” - and then cite only Canons 2316 and 2319, and not 1258, leaves the reader with the impression that the answer is categorically negative.
1258 §2: “Passive, or merely material presence can be tolerated, by reason of civil duty or honor, for a grave reason, to be approved by the Bishop in case of doubt, at the funerals, marriages and similar solemnities of non-Catholics, provided there is no danger of perversion and scandal.”

As far as we know, the Canon you cited was an exception, particularly for heads of State, diplomats and nobles - that is, those in a public office who found themselves by reason of their office or status obliged to interact with non-Catholics. The fact that the Bishop’s approval had to be obtained further proves that this was an exception to the general rule that Catholics should not participate in the religious ceremonies of non-Catholics. This is obvious to anyone with Catholic sense.
Progressivism likes to take exceptions (the temporary suspension of the rule in extraordinary cases) and make it the rule in order to promote tolerance and ecumenism with false religions. With the general apostasy in the Church and the ambience of tolerance, any Bishop today who is presented with this request will likely give an affirmative answer, not because he cares about the Faith, but because he wants to advance in his progressivist career.
We thank you for giving us the opportunity to clarify that, while extraordinary exceptions were once admitted in this case, Progressivism has abused this exception to make it the rule in order to advance its agenda of tolerance and false ecumenism.
So unless you are a progressivist, the general rule remains, which proves your accusation of deception to be empty. The real deception is on the part of those who use these exceptional cases to promote progressivism and pretend that it is generally acceptable to attend non-Catholic ceremonies.

I am forwarding to you this article (below), which was posted on Dr. Gold’s journal, listing many facts of the US laws as well as other countries’ laws favoring transgenderism and homosexuality.
It is an important part of the globalist woke agenda to promote these vices against nature.
We should know and reject the aberration of these laws and be aware that they will bring the wrath of God over our nations.
I am very glad that Trump put a stop to the US governments' promotion of these monstrosities and the consequent harm to sound morality.

March 19, 2025 - In a recent Instagram post, actor Pedro Pascal admonished his fans for not embracing transgender people, who he claimed want nothing but “the right to exist.”
“I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist,” he wrote.
Pascal’s post drew criticism from fans and users who pointed out that not only have transgender people not been under threat, but their totalitarian behavior is not that of a group that simply seeks survival. Many around the world have reported being intimidated and discriminated against for not embracing gender ideology.
In 2023, for example, Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) refused medical care to a cancer patient who questioned the need for a transgender flag.
A non-binary person is currently suing Ryanair for £4,200 in damages ($4,478) because there were no gender-neutral title options when booking the flight.
In the UK, criticizing gender ideology is a criminal offense punishable by two years in prison.
Transgender people have been responsible for the bank account closures of customers who question gender ideology.
Children who reject the ideology have been threatened with extra work or expulsion.
In 2023, a New Jersey mayor was removed by fellow Republicans for not hanging a rainbow flag.
In Canada, schools have begun mandating gender studies for children.
Parents who withhold their children from LGBTQ classes have been found guilty of violating hate speech laws. In several cases, parents who refused to let their children attend secret transgender school clubs have been visited by Child Protective Services.
In 2023, then-Assistant Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Admiral Richard “Rachel” Levine declared a “Summer of Pride” in addition to “Pride Month.”
Last year, a judge in Madera, California ordered rape victims to refer to their male rapist with feminine pronouns to respect his “dignity.”
In South Australia, female rape victims are forced to refer to their male rapists as “she” if the rapist is transgender.
After a transgender person massacred three children and three adults at The Covenant School in March 2023, the Trans Resistance Network justified it by saying it was a response to “hate.” Hours later, when demonstrators occupied the Nashville capitol building to protest legislation banning the medical mutilation of children, they held a moment of silence for the school shooting and held up seven fingers, counting the shooter among the victims.

Over the last decade, transgenderism has been officially adopted by Western governments, institutions, and corporations worldwide. It has been mandated and imposed on citizens and families in major countries, and those who reject it have lost their livelihoods, reputations, and freedom. Therefore, Pedro Pascal’s claim that transgender people are seeking only the right to exist is false.

I remember last year TIA had a square person complaining about the contradictions in private revelation regarding Our Lord’s scourging.
For what it is worth, I am including here some information I found from Cornelius a Lapide’s commentary on the passage in the Gospel of St. Matthew:
“The soldiers had of their own wanton cruelty crowned Him with thorns, and perhaps had been bribed by the Jews to scourge Him with greater severity. The blessed Magdalene of Pazzi, a nun of Florence, saw in a trance Christ scourged by 30 pairs of men, one after the other. Some say that He had 5000 blows inflicted on Him. St. Bridget is said to have had the exact number (5475) revealed to her. From such a scourging as this He would have died naturally again and again, had not His Godhead specially sustained Him.
“4. His bodily frame was most delicate, and acutely sensitive to pain, as fashioned by the Holy Spirit, and He consequently felt the scourging more severely than we should have done.
“5. The prophets, and also Christ Himself, foretold that this scourging would be most heavy and severe. See Matt. 20:19, and Job 16:14, “He brake Me with wound upon wound.” They added, i.e., blows to blows, wounds to wounds, so that the whole body seemed one continuous wound. Conf. Ps. 73:14, “All the day long have I been scourged;” and Ps. 129:3, “The sinners wrought upon my back as smiths on an anvil;” but the Hebrew [and A.V.], “The ploughers ploughed upon My back,” they made furrows on My back with scourges.
