Easter Greetings & Leo XIII’s Vision
Christ Reconcileth Sinners to the Father

The Catholic Church Has Disappeared
It is a deeply beautiful post by Prof. Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira today [Holy Saturday]. Thank you.
He says: '...the Catholic Church has disappeared..."
And I realized only lately that even in the 1960's the 'Catholicity' in persons, couples, families, 'culture' was almost gone. It is gone now... even among the 'best.'
Reading four books on the Martin Family, St. Therese's family, left to me by a dear friend, brought to my mind this thought clearly. Not so long ago people lived in a still 'Catholic' culture, not without sin around them, but the Rock of Peter was still hard, not tethered in endlessly shifting sand, and in place for fighting sin, with support from others. Her father knew other Catholic 'men' without chaos. Imagine.
The entire family went every night in May to Marian devotions a few blocks way. They walked holding hands in fine non-miserablist clothing. The church was full! Every night in May, for Mary.

I was reading an article sent to you on predicted times which can be read here at the bottom of the page.
It reminded me about Pope Leo XIII's famous vision. For your readers who don't remember it, I shall recall it here:
On 13 October 1884, the Pope had a vision at the end of Holy Mass that he celebrated in his private Chapel. In the vision, Our Dear Lord and Satan spoke to each other. Satan boasted that he could destroy the Church within 75-100 years. Our Lord granted him the power to do so. After this vision, the Holy Father composed the Prayer to St. Michael.
However what is interesting is the following:
Thirty-three (33) years later, to the day, Our Lady appeared to the Shepherd Children at Fatima for the last time, and which She also performed the Miracle of the Sun. Not only this, but Our Lord lived 33 years, so this is also significant. In many places, especially Russia, the Lord was being crucified all over again in 1917.
Next, 75 years from 1884 is 1959, the very year in which John XXIII called the Second Vatican Council!
One hundred years from 1884 is 1984, the year John Paul II had his Assisi Prayer Meetings, which ended with civil wars exploding around the world, ironically. After all, he held these meetings straight after “consecrating” the world to the Immaculate Heart. I am sure Our Lady wasn't too pleased about being entrusted to bring peace, and so had Her Son punish the Pope's actions by having civil wars erupt somewhere. Moral of the story: Don't anger the Holy Mother of God - She isn't a woman to trifle with, as the Devil himself attests!
Besides this, Paul VI himself admitted that Satan had entered the Church through a crack, the same caused by the Second Vatican Council. Since Vatican II, the Church has been eclipsed by the banality of the "Roman Modernist Revolution," being a spiritual spin-off of the French Revolution and its "Enlightenment" ideology. Like its predecessor, the "Roman Modernist Revolution" subscribes to "Equality, Fraternity and Liberty." However, just like Revolutionary France, none of these "virtues" are actually practiced:
Equality - If you practice any sort of traditional Catholicism you are sidelined, mocked and insulted. And to make it even more heinous, the Modernists are now beginning to view Vatican II as too conservative, and are getting rid of its teachings!
Fraternity - Priests who pray the Tridentine Mass are often removed from active ministry or persecuted in some way either by their brother Priests or Bishops. Not so much Fraternity there!
Liberty - When Catholics exercise their liberty to practice the Faith as it has always been practiced, and not to engage in some strange "Mass of Surprises" that accompanies the worship of the "God of Surprises" from the "Pope of Surprises," then be prepared for the Modernist Inquisition to come knocking on your door!
As we have seen in the last 50 years, the Vatican Council was the machine through which the Prince of Hell and Father of Lies could stoke the fires of the Modernist Revolution. And now Rome is under the crown of that most wicked Prince, and the "fumus Satanae," the "Fumes of Satan," are wafted around the very Tomb of the Prince of the Apostles where sweet incense once perfumed the air. It seems that the Church, the human part, is suffocating from the Fumes, the very stench of Hell plaguing Her like the Black Plague.
We must not let these same Fumes be allowed to follow us back home, to our Domestic Church, to suffocate us there. We must use the incense of prayer, penance and pious Faith to fragrance our homes (actual incense doesn't hurt, and I use it as often as I can). We must pray to St. Michael, that valiant Prince of Heaven, to come to our aid in this the latter times.
It is time to get serious. I would urge all to read Pascendi of St. Pius X as often as you can, and note well his words. Read the Church Fathers as well, and try to either buy or print off their works - here is one good source. With the internet being censored, it won't be too long before Catholic Texts are taken down. Try to get as many as you can, and study it as often as you can. Such things like the Summa of St. Thomas Aquinas will become priceless (it is already). Also, get those gems of Papal teaching - Encyclicals and Ecumenical Councils.
I don't mean to be alarmist, but I think we can all agree that things are going to get rough!
