Tyranny, Harvard Spy & Killing Trads

California Closer to Tyranny

TIA,

Here's what's essential in California:

Under a clarification document Gov. Gavin Newsom issued late Friday, all licensed marijuana businesses in California can continue with business as usual during an effective statewide lockdown implemented in response to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The decision to categorize cannabis companies as “essential” in effect provides an economic lifeline to the marijuana industry by allowing MJ businesses to keep their doors open.

In the meantime, the state is buying drones from China to patrol for violations in the coronavirus mania.

This writer is right - this crisis is an excuse to bring us closer to tyranny.

Perhaps we deserve it if we are such stupid sheep to follow along with each new media news report.

Harvard Spy

TIA,

Prof. Charles Lieber, chair of Harvard Chemistry, has been accused of passing privileged biological information to Wuhan University of Technology – WUT – about his research for the U.S. Department of Defense.

One of his “students” happens to be a Chinese army official who was sneaked onto his Harvard team with a fraudulent identity.

The professor, now suspended from activities, was receiving $50,000 a month from Chinese organizations and $1.5 million to establish in the WUT a research laboratory similar to the Harvard one.

Bishops close churches

Ireland Consecrated to Immaculate Heart

TIA,

Would you like to hear one bit of good news in this CVmania.?

On March 25, the Catholic Church in Ireland will be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The Irish bishops have invited people to join the consecration - scheduled to take place at noon on the feast of the Annunciation - as families and individuals. The prayer is scheduled to coincide with a request from Pope Francis for the entire world to pray the Lord’s Prayer at noon on the feast day.

Read more here.

Now for the incredible part - As of Monday, March 23, the Republic of Ireland had ONLY 1,125 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with ONLY 6 fatalities; while Northern Ireland has 148 confirmed cases, with ONLY 2 fatalities.

Still, Northern Ireland, along with the rest of the United Kingdom, was put into lock-down on Monday evening in an effort to curb the spread of the virus. And the whole Republic of Ireland was expected to follow suit later on Tuesday.

Talk about overreaction. Talk about stupid sheep following One World Order shepherds.

But if this is what it takes to return the Irish people to Our Lady, well, it's not all bad.

     H.M.

“As Church now, more than ever, we are committed to offering prayer, solidarity and compassion in our society,” said Archbishop Eamon Martin of Armagh, the Primate of All Ireland.

“Social distancing cannot be allowed to create social isolation and, through prayer, as Pope Francis said on Sunday, we can overcome: ‘In these trying days, while humanity trembles due to the thread of the pandemic, I would like to propose to all Christians that together we lift our voices towards Heaven.’ Pope Francis has shown strong pastoral leadership at this horrendous time especially when we consider the impact that the rapid devastation COVID19 has wrought across Italy,” the archbishop continued.

Martin called on the people of Ireland to join “in spiritual communion with Our Lord, Our Blessed Mother, Pope Francis and with each other.”

Beautiful Diptych

Dear TIA,

Look at this:

English diptych

This small, portable altarpiece is one of a handful of English panel paintings to have survived from the Middle Ages. Made for Richard II, King of England from 1377 to 1399, in the last five years of his life, it combines religious and secular imagery to embody his personal conception of kingship.

On the inside the King is presented to the Virgin and Christ Child by Edmund and Edward the Confessor, England’s patron saints, and his personal patron, John the Baptist. Richard holds out his hands to give or receive the standard with the red and white cross, the arms of Saint George. Christ raises his hand to bless the standard and with it, Richard’s rule.

Richard’s emblem of a white hart, or stag, is shown on the outside, and as badges worn by the host of angels. The King adopted this symbol from his mother, but it also acted as a visual pun on his name (Richard in French).

TIA responds:

Dear P.J.,

Thank you for sending this reproduction of the Wilton Diptych. We hope you can find some of the deeper symbolism of the stag – actually, at the right panel, each Angel wears a stag brooch – that represents the King in this article that we posted some time ago.

We also printed holy cards with that image of Our Lady surrounded by the Angels with a prayer asking her to send the Angels to help us in these times of crisis. You can view and purchase it here.

Northern Lights

Dear TIA,

As governments and local authorities continue to mandate social distancing measures to help prevent the spread of coronavirus, non-essential travel is out of the question. But while you’re quarantining at home, you can still see one of nature’s most stunning atmospheric phenomena: the Northern Lights.

Scroll down from the Northern Lights and you can tour some of the National Parks as well as some gardens.

     Best regards,

     M.E.

Francis Kills another Trad Institution

TIA,

A little before the Coronavirus outbreak, Francis was continuing his meticulous work of destroying each one of the Catholic traditional religious institutions that were officially established in the Church.

It is a strong stimulus for Catholics to set similar institutions outside the reach of the religious authority, which means either in the catacombs or in an independent situation. Let us see if these conservatives and traditionalists learn the lesson…

Suppression of old-school religious fraternities peaks under Pope Francis

Jules Gomes

ROME (ChurchMilitant.com) - The ill-timed publication of a Vatican decree abolishing a religious fraternity of traditionalist priests has shocked Catholics who are already distressed by the closure of churches in parts of Italy plagued by the coronavirus.

The archdiocese of Ferrara-Comacchio announced in a press release Friday that the Society of Apostolic Life Familia Christi (Family of Christ) has been suppressed by the Holy See following the conclusion of a canonical procedure that lasted for two years.

The Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) said it found the organization "unfit to live and form a Priestly Fraternity of consecrated life for serious religious, educational and administrative reasons."

Famila Christi

A Familia Christi Latin Mass for the feast of Ascension

Distraught Catholics from the region told Church Militant they found the language "highly ambiguous and even disingenuous" since the statement did not clarify or elaborate what precisely made the society "unfit" for religious life.

The Vatican decree applies Canon 701 of the Code of Canon Law, which releases religious from their vows and prohibits a priest from exercising Holy Orders — that is, celebrating Mass or solemnizing weddings, hearing confessions and so on, "unless they have found a bishop who, after a probationary period in his diocese following Canon 693, welcomes him or at least allows him to exercise Holy Orders."

"A possible future welcome or incardination of the above-mentioned priests can only take place through the consent of the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith, which is to be formally asked for and obtained in written form by a Diocese or by an Institute of consecrated life," the CDF decree stipulates.
