From India on Our Lady of Good Success
I am A.D.. I am 20 years old and a student. I am from Kolkata, India. I am writing this email to beseech you for something that would be of great help to me. But if it's going to displease you, I am begging your pardon before commencing.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I was born into a radical Hindu family. I am the only baptized Catholic in my entire family. I got baptized 3 years ago against the will of my parents and family. They strongly believe in Hinduism.
I was in support of the Novus Ordo for 1 year after my baptism but I always believed two things very rigidly: "Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven." and "There is no salvation outside the Catholic Church." I had to be persecuted and ridiculed a lot for harboring such a strong belief.
When I used to go to the Novus Ordo mass, I never received Holy Communion in my hand or standing. I always received o the tongue and by kneeling. It definitely annoyed my parish priest but he never stopped me. During my process of getting into the Church, I had to go and meet many Novus Ordo priests and the sheer ignorance they showed toward a soul willing to become a Catholic is beyond imagination. It surprised me so much.
Eventually, with the intervention of an old nun, my parish priest agreed to baptize me quite reluctantly. But thank God, I was finally a member of the Church. Since then Jesus is the ONLY love of my life. A day after my Baptism, on the day of my First Holy Communion, I promised God my irrevocable chastity and to never take an earthly spouse for the love of Jesus and Mary. It was the feast of St. Cecilia. I hope to join the seminary soon by the end of next year.
I have come to know about Mother Mariana and Our Lady of Good Success around a year ago. On Google, I read as much stuff as I could on her apparitions and the life of Mother Mariana. But none of them really explain all these in detail. I desperately want to read about the apparitions of Our Lady of Good Success and Her messages and prophecies. Could you please, please, please send me some books on these topics. Please. Please. Please.
I have a little picture of Our Lady of Good Success at home, just a mere gaze at Her miraculous statue soothes my burdened soul. I have heard that the statue is very miraculous. Is there any book that speaks exclusively about the miracles people received through praying to this miraculous statue of Our Lady? I would be very grateful to obtain a copy of this subject as well.
I wish I could buy them on my own. But it's not available in my country. And it's TOO costly to order books from overseas. As I said, I am just a student, so I don't have that much money to afford them. I can't ask my parents to help me buy them as they are against my Catholic faith, they would never help me financially in such a case. After my baptism, they barely even talk with me and also stopped giving me any sort of pocket money. Therefore, I had no other option left except to write this email to you and depend on your generosity.
I know, I might be requesting a lot by asking you to send those books to me but trust me I have no other option left except this. In your charity, please help me. Please.
I promise, I will always preach the message and devotion of Our Lady of Good Success to everyone and everywhere I go. Please help. Please.

We are pleased that you have discovered Our Lady of Good Success, and we will send you Volumes 1 and 2 of The Admirable Life of Mother Mariana, along with some pictures and a novena booklet.
These books were written by a Franciscan, Fr. Manuel Pereira, a Portuguese Franciscan priest who was converted by Mother Mariana and then went to Quito and became the chaplain of the Royal Monastery of the Conceptionists. He died in the odor of sanctity and his deep piety and holiness is reflected in his writing.

Czech Court Ends Vax Mandates
Great news! One more country that has returned to good sense and abandoned tyranny and hysteria!

February 4, 2022 - The Czech Republic’s Supreme Administrative Court has ruled against the country’s current measure allowing only those who have been vaccinated or who have recovered from COVID-19 into restaurants, clubs, hotels, hairdressers, bars and other non-essential indoor spaces.
The ruling means that the current mandate is invalid and will be scrapped; the court’s decision will come into force in seven days.
The measure was enacted by the former health minister, and meant that a vaccination certificate or medical certificate proving successful recovery from COVID-19 was required to enter restaurants, clubs and hotels, as reported by the Czech News Agency.
The Supreme Court’s ruling follows new Prime Minister Petr Fiala’s announcement last month that his government planned to scrap the previous government’s plans to mandate vaccines for older people and those in certain professions.
“We do not want to deepen the rifts in society,” Fiala said at a press conference on Wednesday 19 January.
According to the court, the measure is invalid as vaccination against COVID-19 is voluntary and thus the state cannot force people to take it, Judge Petr Mikes said.
The controversial mandate came into force on 22 November 2021, with the Czech government banning unvaccinated people from most non-essential indoor places. The mandate meant that those unvaccinated against COVID-19 were no longer allowed to show negative COVID tests in order to attend public events, go to bars, restaurants, visit hairdressers, museums and similar facilities, or use hotels, ITV reported.
Only people who were vaccinated or recently recovered from COVID remained eligible to enter, with exceptions for teenagers aged 12 to 18 and people whose medical condition didn’t allow vaccination.
“The Ministry has no support for restricting this type of establishment in the so-called pandemic law, unless it is a technical measure, such as the use of disinfection or the location of seats. The ministry could restrict their activities only in accordance with the Public Health Protection Act, however, only to persons suspected of being infected,” Judge Petr Mikeš explained on Wednesday, adding that not everyone can be a suspect of an infection.
This would only be permitted in a situation where the entire Czech Republic would be identified as an outbreak.
The court also pointed out that the aim of the measure in this form could not be to force citizens to be vaccinated, which are voluntary.
“However, the aim of the measure cannot be to indirectly force citizens to be vaccinated. This would make voluntary vaccination mandatory through an emergency vaccination measure, as unvaccinated people would have no choice but to be vaccinated if they wanted to live normally,” Judge Mikeš said.
Petr Fiala was sworn in as new prime minister of the Czech Republic on 17 December. On 19 January, his government announced it would invalidate the former government’s directive on mandatory vaccination for healthcare workers and some other professions. Fiala said his government didn’t want to “divide society even more.”
Although the Czech Republic’s vaccination rate is higher than in some other Central and Eastern European countries, it sits below the EU average. The country’s vaccination rate is currently 64%, having risen from a reported 56% in September.
In the nation with a population of 10.7 million, 6.7 million are considered fully vaccinated. Reports state that just 2.8 million people in the Czech Republic have received a booster shot.
Recently appointed Czech Health Minister Vlastimil Válek, speaking last month, said that mandatory vaccination was “nonsense from the start.”
