TIA,
Re: Is the Vatican Promoting Hermaphroditism?
When discussing Hermaphroditism it's important to consider that some humans are affected by an androgynous body (ie., ambiguous organs, bearded ladies).
This isn't a mere invention of the alphabet revolution, this is a physical condition. This isn't a mere mental condition, this is something that can be observed and will have consequences on the life of the individual.
While glorification of this condition certainly belongs to the doctrines of queer theory (and is possible that the Vatican was trying to convey this), intersexed people are entitled to be distinguished from the rest of "gender non-conforming" individuals.

P.R.V.,
Yes, it is important to consider hermaphroditism as a natural physiological anomaly, which can occur without any moral guilt of the patient.
Your distinction is pertinent. We did not make it, because we supposed it was obvious. But since it was not for you and perhaps for others, we thank you for your clarification.

Terrible Specter of Fear
Good Morning, dear TIA,
Ave Maria!
I must say how much I appreciated Atila's Bird's Eye View on how Vatican II could have been cancelled. Ah! The gravity of sins of omission; what the terrible specter of fear can do; the deplorable state of indecision which sounds an uncertain wavering trumpet; the stench of coercion -- quite an insight into the human condition, all compounded by the petitions never being addressed and of course, the Consecration of Russia never being done as Our Lady requested -- how deflating for the lay Counter-Revolutionaries to be exposed to such failures by their clergy!
Yes, those were frightful times! I was impressed at all he wrote. Now with invaluable documentation available, I made an attempt to get in touch with Stephen Kokx of Kokx News, hoping my email may reach him with the thought he may want to interview Atila. This deserves to reach a large public audience as we all come to grips with what the past 60 years have bequeathed to us.
Take care.
Blessings, In Maria!

Outlaw Tattoos
TIA,
"Is there anyone left with zero tattoos?"
Me. And I often feel I’m the only American man without any.
Not sure about anyone else, but MY skin is an ORGAN (the largest my body has). I don’t indiscriminately inject dangerous ink chemicals into it. There have been so many health issues with tattoos, they should be outlawed!
Besides that, as a Catholic I believe my body is a Temple of the Holy Spirit. I’m not gonna “graffiti” my temple. My skin is not a “scratchpad” for me to scribble & doodle on.
I thank God my parents and the nuns who taught me in the ‘70s told me that tattoos are a mortal sin.
Today there are PRIESTS like @frmikeschmitz getting them to prove a point!
My God, how far we have fallen!

Similar to the Resurrection
Good evening TIA,
Salve Maria!
A thought came to the mind while meditating on the full Rosary.
When Our Lord appeared to Our Lady after His Resurrection, He came to her first because she was His Mother and because she was the only one who truly believed in His return. Then He went and appeared to those who stayed with Him at the Cross. After this He appeared to His Apostles who abandoned Him. The last Apostle to see Him was St. Thomas since not only did St. Thomas abandon Him but he did not believe Our Lord had returned until he stuck his hand into Our Lord’s wounds. In all of these interactions with Our Lord, they were given an incredible grace but up to the level of faith they had in Our Lord and this was displayed by the order in which they reunited with Him.
We will also experience something similar to this in our days. Grace will be distributed in order by the level of devotion that each of us had to the Church’s Passion during this time. Those who did more will receive more and those that did little will receive little. This will likely come after or during the Chastisement.
What I think will be most profound in this moment is the comfort we will be given. Our Lord’s return comforted the hearts of His followers and brought them peace. When the world is in chaos and the grace starts to come to guide us through it, let us be numbered among those that will receive comfort so that we can be useful to Our Lord and to those that need a guiding light.

It is interesting that you posted an article on celebrating Christmas with this so-called Prince d'Orleans.
I, for one, know the sorted history of this family; particularly as it pertains to the overthrow and execution of King Louis XVI. Louis Philippe II, Duke of Orleans, actively conspired and worked to undermine King Louis XVI, supporting the French Revolution's move to overthrow the monarchy, even famously voting for his cousin's execution as "Citizen Egalite". He used his wealth and influence at the Palais Royal to support revolutionary ideas, shifting from advocating constitutional monarchy to supporting a republic. Ironically, his efforts to align with radicalism ultimately led to his own downfall and execution by the very revolution he helped foster.
And since Louis Philippe II's demise, his descendants have been at it trying to convince the public-at-large in France that the House of Orleans hosts the legitimate heir to the throne of France. French Catholic critics and associated prophecies, e.g. St. Louis De Monfort and Marie-Julie Jahenny, from the 19th century and onward indicate that this will not be.
Too bad that a better example of celebrating Christmas with your family did not occur.
Yours in Christ

N.F.,
Thank you for your knowledgeable objection. It is always enjoyable to discuss with a person who has a background in history.
You could also object to other posts that we have in this section Dos and Don’ts since we at times feature Protestant Royals or Catholic Sovereigns who swore a revolutionary constitution, following the example of the son of “Philippe Egalité,” the evil and mediocre King Louis Philippe of France.
Undoubtedly, these are not points worth praising. However, since the nobility is habitually the model for the people, when they do something counter-revolutionary or culturally good, it is normal to offer them as examples.
We believe that doing this we are applying the precept of St. Paul: “Prove all things; hold fast to that which is good.” (1 Thess 5:21)
