Hope, Mother Cabrini & Cupich’s Revenge

Needed Hope

Dear TIA,

With all that is happening in this world in these most difficult and frightening times, and with the impending fear of WWIII hanging over our heads like the sword of Damocles, it is necessary to have some reassurance that there is hope. The irreversible promises of Our Lady of Fatima, that after a succession of events she would triumph and there would be a time of peace, are hopeful.

But, we need guidance on the the things we need to be doing to prepare ourselves for what we are facing. Dr Marian Horvat's article on The Grace of Contrition and the Reign of Mary is a very good start in this direction. I have included a link and the article below.

Any other suggestions to help guide us also would be greatly appreciated.

In the Immaculate Heart of Mary,

     L.M.

The Grace of Contrition & The Reign of Mary

Marian Horvat, Ph.D.

In the 17th century, Our Lady of Good Success appeared to a Conceptionist sister in Quito, Ecuador and asked her to make reparation for the great religious crisis in the 20th century, which would affect every Sacrament. It is significant that as a symbol of this crisis, the tabernacle light in the Church went out. She promised her intercession. “At the very moment when the evil will appear triumphant and when the authority abuses my power,” she said, “this will mark the arrival of my hour when I, in a marvelous way, will dethrone the proud and accursed Satan, trampling him under my feet and fettering him in the infernal abyss.”

TIA responds:

Dear L.M.,

We believe Our Lady in Fatima gave the formula: Prayer and penance.

We can only add that if we fight for the destruction of Progressivism in the Catholic Church and the Revolution in the world, our position certainly will attract her goodness and mercy toward us.

Magnifica Humanitas

Dear TIA,

According to this news, Pope Leo XIV will shortly issue his first encyclical. It will be on Artificial Intelligence. Let us not forget that he chose the name Leo XIV inspired by Leo XIII, who faced the Industrial Revolution and issued general rules for Catholics to deal with it.

Now, Leo XIV will start to give orientation on how to deal with AI. Taking into consideration his previous statements, we can surmise that, although he takes some precautions and makes some ethical restrictions regarding AI’s abuses, his general line should be of support. He would like to ride the Cybernetic Revolution that is going on right now, like Leo XIII rode the Industrial Revolution at his time.

Let us wait and see when the encyclical is published if this appraisal corresponds to reality.

     Kind regards,

     G.L.
The Catholic Herald

Reports from Rome suggest that the first encyclical of Pope Leo XIV is approaching publication and could appear shortly after Easter, just weeks before the first anniversary of his election to the papacy.

The document, widely reported to carry the working title Magnifica Humanitas (“Magnificent Humanity”), is expected to address the ethical challenges posed by artificial intelligence and the profound consequences it may have for human work, social relations and the dignity of the person.

According to reporting by the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, the encyclical is currently in the final stages of revision. If confirmed, it would be the first major magisterial text issued by the Pontiff since his election on 8 May last year.

Reviving Frozen Brains

TIA,

You can see the plan of the Devil is to create the illusion that death will end with the progress of science, which is what the modern neopagan man longs to hear.

Here is the latest news: Scientists are trying to revive the frozen brain of a mouse, with the aim of doing the same for humans. Who knows, they may already be experimenting on humans, giving AI bodies to frozen brains. But in vain. The Devil will not win, he will go down, under the foot of the Blessed Virgin.

Here is the report about researchers in Germany who managed to freeze mouse-brain tissue in a way that preserved its circuits and functionality after thawing. Of course, the mouse would have to be alive when they killed it to 'save the brain.'.

Mother Cabrini Feminist Movie

Hi,

I was wondering if you have a review for the Padre Pio movie with Shia LaBeouf in it and the Mother Cabrini movie? If not, can you please write one? Would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you. They’re both very concerning to me as they don’t seem to portray these holy saints well in any way.

TIA responds:

Hello J.C.,

We have a movie review on that film about Mother Cabrini, who was falsely portrayed as a feminist. It presents the life of the Saint with fictitious scenes & lines. You can read it: We have not done a review of the Padre Pio film. But we gave the criteria to analyze films so that any of our readers are capable to do it by themselves. The general criteria can be found below: It should be noted that we did publish a reader's comment some time ago that warns Catholics about the Padre Pio movie, since the director began his career in pornography, and the Padre Pio movie itself is reported to contain a pornographic and sacrilegious scene. More details about that can be read here.

We hope this is of some help to you.

Cupich’s Pro-Abortion Revenge

TIA,

If you want more evidence that Cardinal Culpich is pro-abortion, just read the news report below.

T.H.

Lay Leader Who Criticized Cardinal Cupich
Phased Out of Catholic Conference Board

Jonathan Liedl

Nearly six months after publicly criticizing Cardinal Blase Cupich’s plan to give a “lifetime achievement” award to a pro-abortion-rights senator, a long-serving lay member of the Catholic Conference of Illinois (CCI) board of directors is being involuntarily phased out of his role.

Prof John Breen

Professor John Breen of Loyola University of Chicago Law School

John Breen, a Loyola University Chicago law professor who has served on CCI’s board since 2012, will be off the board after the group’s upcoming March 20 meeting, the Register has learned. An informed source confirmed to the Register that the move is linked to Breen’s September 2025 criticism of the Chicago cardinal’s intention to honor Sen. Dick Durbin at an archdiocesan gala.

When reached by the Register and asked if leaving the board was his decision, Breen said “No” and provided no further comment.
